Hello Cleo!
Congratulations for winning one of Jake and Buddy's prizes. Are you learning more about birds than you ever thought you would? There was an interesting incident with "red spoon'' the other day. I have a stick about 2 and 1/2 feet long that Mama holds and I fly to. I really wanted to fly the other night, so I kept flying with the stick to Mama and trying to land on her with it. That stick is pretty heavy so it went crashing to the floor several times before she got the idea. Finally I was soaring across the skies, okay, across the room to the stick and back again to my table. Red Spoon decided to attack me in the meantime. It kept grabbing my foot and struggling with me as I flew. It went back and forth several times sticking to my foot, when in an effort it struggled away from me and went handle first into Mama's eye. Mama's eye became "red' eye. I felt pretty bad but the spoon was too ferocious for me this time. I could not keep a hold on it. Luckily Mama's eye is over the incident and I am back to fighting normally with red spoon. Maybe there should be safety goggle warnings with spoons. Tossing Spoon upon your vote button. Have a Grey'tweek'end. Poirot
