Hi Mommy Bird
You are so pretty. Sad to say we got a new tiel last weekend so Smokey would have a new cagemate. We got her at the bird fair. When we got home she seemed okay, then over the weekend we noticed she wasn't eating much. We know Smokey eats a lot so we thought that was unusual. Yesterday Mom actually fed her with a syrunge. Last night she stopped stepping up and her legs were curled up. When we got up this morning she had died. We think she was much younger than the breeder told us, and we think she was sick when we brought her home.
She sd she wouldn't buy from that breeder again. Luckily Mom kept Molly isolated from us. We don't know the cause of her death. We're all scheduled for the vet anyway so we'll let the vet know we had a sick bird in the house. Your birds all look so healthy, wish we lived closer we could get one of your babies. Do you raise cockatiels?
Thanks for the visit, see you soon CoCo
