Hello, Woody
Hi, This is Tookie's Mom. Thank you for thinking of us! Are those cats leaving you alone, Woody? We went to the lake for 10 days. It was really strange without Tookie, but China kept us busy. We now realize how unique Tookie was in loving travel. China is definitely NOT a good traveler! She can't seem to travel without getting into a mess. Tookie would have really thought she was lower class! She has to travel in a medium dog carrier. Maybe that is degrading for a cat??? She faces front with the cat box in the back half of the carrier. Well, that big tail and those furry britches are NOT an advantage when you are having a problem. When we got home Dad had to fill the bathtub twice and use the baby shampoo to get her clean. THEN, when he was using the hair dryer on her, she jumped off and he got three deep claw marks on his wrist from her back claws. She hit a vein and may have gotten a tendon. What behavior! We know well-behaved birds never do anything like that!!! Dad is recovering and probably won't need antibiotics. Cats are fun, but, you know, Woody, dear friend, that birds are SUPERIOR!
