Good morning Alex!
Norb here! Wow< your mom is an RN? That is awesome. It takes a special person to do that. That is funny that you avoid the other birds in your flock. Anytime I am around in other birds, that is what I do too. With your thyroid being corrected, did you feathers turn back to their normal color? Do you have any weight issues associated with the disease? When my mom got me, I was the second bird she had at the time. She had a quaker before me. Then after me she got another quaker and two lovebirds. One quaker and a lovebird died and the other quaker was given to my aunt. I like being an only bird much more and mom likes that we have a lot of one-on-one, especially since she lives alone. I know she talks about someday, when she has her own house, building on a sound proof bird room. I will not be in that room of course. I am family. She wants to use the room to rescue and rehabilitate abused parrots. She wants to work a lot with different species, but doesn't think she could handle getting so attached to another one for life. So, for now, I am all she wants. hehehe And I am making the most of it. Does your mom have any plans to expand your flock further? If so, what other types of birds is she interested in? I hope you are feeling well. Mom is kicking me off the computer so she can study. Finals are next week. Here is a V4U and your flock. ttyl
