Hi Hanna-Bell
Welcome to the channel! I'm a Meyer's Parrot so that makes us cousins! I'm in the same family of parrots as the Senegal! You sound like a wonderful bird and so lucky that your new mom found you! You story sounds similar to mine, in that I became a bit angry and bitey because I wasn't paid attention to much. When my mom found me I came right to her and instantly became the sweetest bird. (I love my mom the best...I tolerate the rest of the family) I travel all over the house on my mom's shoulder. Sometimes she forgets I'm there and I have to remind her so she talks to me as she's doing other stuff. I'm glad you didn't get a complex when your first human had to go off to school. Being a vet is a very important job, and he probably did the right thing by finding your new forever home. Your mom sounds like the perfect bird mom...just like mine! God bless you both! I'm giving you my vote today...come visit me sometime! Birdie hugs, Tiki
