Hello Bakura!
Nice to hear from you! So you have 7 other doves in your flock...what a lovely chorus you all must make. I'd love to hear you! If I could listen for just a little while I could learn how to coo like you. I love to imitate other birds. There are cockatiels here at my house (5 of them!) and I can get them all excited by calling out to them from another room, get them to thinking there's an invader or company. Man, do they get wound up! My mom plays a canary CD and I can now sing like a male canary. Mom says she need not own a canary with me around. Only problem is I throw in a crazed chimpanzee and a barking dog mid-canary song which Mom says ruins the mood. So, if she wants nothing but Canary, guess she's going to have to get the real thing! Same thing would certainly be true of dove cooing. I'm bound to add in a whistled rendition of "Charge!" and a meowing cat to a cooing concert... Only a dove like you will do a really nice job, right?! Nite nite, my flighted friend.
