Traveling Again
Hi, Woody! My cage has been all over lately with me in it! After we got back from Florida, we were at home for about 10 days, then we drove up north 7 hours to my Mom and Dad's lake home. It was shivery cold! We had lots of snow while we were there, but we were warm inside. Then, the sun came out and the snow was just like diamonds. After a week, we came back to Lakeland. Spring started and I have been out on the deck for lunch about four times in my cage! I see butterflies, other birds, airplanes, lots of things! In about a week and a half I will be off again to go to New Jersey to see my human sister! She has a big Maine Coon cat, so there will be lots of excitement to watch. It takes four days to drive there in our red pickup truck, so I will get to stay in motels, again. I hope they have those big mirrors! They are the best, they have a very pretty bird in them! By the way, I am nearly 21 and I have never been to a vet. Once when I was about a year old, in the night, I was not feeling well and my Dad used the bird help center. It was 20 below outside, so they said to heat me up. My Dad and Mom put a heating pad under my cage and covered me. I was fine in the morning! Cheery chirps, Tookie |
