Hi from Max (ie) the WonderBird!
Hey Marvin! By the way, were you named Marvin before you found out you were female? I was Max before I found out... Our vet gave us a recipe that was used at the Bird Park where I used to live in case I drew blood on this one patch on my shoulder/wing that I chew at: The vet gave us a recipe as follows: Use Benadryl with a 12.5 mg/tsp solution. Mix 1/2 tsp of Benadryl in 8 oz of drinking water for 14-21 days, it should be the sole source of drinking water, make a new solution each day, slight drowsiness may occur but the bird should not be unstable. I haven't had to use it, cuz once I chew off the patch with the bad follicles I seem to leave it alone. Hope it works for you...Cya...
