Lala!
Rainbow here! Thanks for stoppin' by my page last week. I couldn't get back to you right away 'cause mom was gone on vacation and didn't leave me the computer within my reach. Apparently she doesn't trust me to just tap on the keys instead of pick them off! You had such exciting news about a new bird joining your flock. My mom got all excited when she saw that Max is a DYH Amazon... she thinks she wants one of those to join my flock. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Guess I should ask how it's working out for YOU... maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have to share mom with another bird. (I already have to share mom with a couple of greys and a flock of cockatiels...) LOL about Max finding a friend in your dad, the man whom half the flock was supposed to buddy up with in the first place. Funny how that works out sometimes. When my mom was introduced to me she was told that I prefer men over women... well, that turned out to be true in a way... I prefer to CHASE men and cuddle with women. At least that's how it worked how here in this house! Speaking of adopting birds, mom was telling me that while she was in Colorado she visited The Gabriel Foundation in Denver and met four very nice cockatoos! Apparently my mom's never been around a Too but quickly found herself enamored with your kind's beauty and friendliness. Two of them kept saying 'Hello' in the sweetest voices, she told me. Adopting a 'Too suddenly became tempting. If it hadn't been for the lengthy process that adopting requires I might be sharing a bird room with a feathery mate just like YOU, Lala! I understand my Dad's only comment was, 'If I can survive Rainbow's yelling and carrying on I guess I can handle a Cockatoo also." Mom was surprised to hear him say that. Me too. I'm not loud. Really, I'm not!! Ok, sometimes I am. Are you ever loud? Didn't think so. You're too cute and sweet to ever do anything wrong like be excessive noisy, huh. Well, I'm gettin' long-winded here. Good to chat with you. Can't wait to hear an update on how things are going with Max and the rest of the flock and family. Take care! R ('>
