Sherlock
Hi Peas good luck with your new people! To answer your question about rosellas especially crimson rosellas like Sherlock is....they are not cuddly, they are very active and mischievious, playful and hilarious birds, just don't expect them to jump on your extended arm...Not much is know about Crimson Rosellas kept as pets other than in an aviary. A lot has been trial and error with Sherlock. He keeps us quite amused with his somersaulting and other cute tricks. He has a habit of hopping around with his wings way back chest stuck out and head cocked and all the while talking away or "clucking" as we call it. He speaks very clearly and says phrases such as "who's a good boy", "good morning", "step up" (even though he won't most times...lol), "what are you doing?". He also whistles like a professional..very melodious not like most human whisltling which is usually monotone and off key....all and all Sherlock is a wonderful bird....we also have Luci our 2 year old lutino cockatiel a recent addition to our family...got her a local pet shop, she was given up by owners friend and we brought her into our home...now you want to talk about cuddly??? She's a sweetheart...anyways talk to you later good luck in the new home! Here's a vote for you !
