Welcome from Caymus...
Hi Kiwi & Maori, and welcome to the birdchannel. Lori & Smeagol told me about you two so I just had to stop by for a look. Silly mommy thought the only Parrot in New Zealand was te Kea, and here to find out...there are actually four different kinds including one that is flightless! This has been a very educational day for mom, especially since her dream vacation is to New Zealand to visit the Waitomo caves and of course daddy to go to the wine country there. Now mom knows even more about those lovely islands thanks to you! Oh, and I do the chicken scratch dance too...but only on a papertowel on top of a pillow. It looks like I'm digging for something. So will you ever be tame enought to let mom touch you, or are you mainly kept in a avaiary? Hey, you're safe from predators and well taken care of so that's all that counts! Leaving you guys a big vote and a hug...can't wait to hear more about you!
