Sorry if I offended you...
I hope I didn't offend you with my rant on religion, sometimes I go too far. When is your semester over? How do your parents feel about your leaving CCS? Have you decided to let the birds have a second clutch? I always did, because they do in the wild- but no more than two. Of course I wouldn't have allowed two if the girls were showing any signs of fatigue or ill health, but they never did. Now I'm torn (again) about getting another boy (you're brobably sick of hearing about this...); my mom pointed out that I might be moving to another state (or even another country) when I graduate- wherever my job is. In that case I don't know what my living situation will be- it would probably be best not to add any more birds to my family until that's more certain- especially if I'm moving to another country! Budgies, I know, are not on the CITES list, but moving any animal overseas can be complicated, and at the very least stressful. It's only for another year or so... We'll see how I feel next time I encounter a really tame handfed lovebird for sale, I'll probably sing another tune then! I'm SO happy I was able to sign up for another ceramics class! My teacher is great- she knows a lot about glazes and she's a very enthusiastic teacher. On our first day of class she gave us each a handmade brush (mine's corkscrew willow with fox bristles) and she's going to teach us how to make our own brushes. She's going to teach me how to make a birdhouse on the wheel, too.
