Hi guys!
Our house is a flurry of activity lately. We got our newest member to the flock on Monday and her name is Daisy. She is a black capped conure and she is only two and a half months old. the size of a sparrow. Mom posted photo's on MY page I think she should have her own but Mom keeps waffling not knowing what to do since she is new to this herself and having a second head of feathers in her room. I haven't heard a peep from her and I keep trying to yell at her across the house but that gets me know where. Mom told me this morning she was making some peeping sounds as she was ringing this bell toy that I can hear and I want to play with it what ever it is. I'm feeling better these days as Mom says I'm back to sowing my oats whatever that means. I should get my no-plucking collar off in about 3 more weeks. I look terrible but so many new feathers have come in, to many to count. I have pin feathers all over and it drives me nuts. I look worse now than I did going bald. My scab healed. Mom gave me a little water the other day and when she wasn't looking I took the best bath I could by dunking my head in. She came back in the room an saw spots on the wall and thumped her head in what a dummy she was. She just wanted me to have some water as I hadn't had any in weeks because it is not to get wet under the collar. I feel better about my self and Mom is hoping I don't grow mold :) I still try and get to my chest and all I do is lick the clear circle around me. The sooner I can stop thinking of my addiction to my feathers and my new friend can move into the kitchen so I can see her and not get jealous and start taking it out on myself, and after Mom then moves her cage next to mine (to bad I'm behind glass) and we get to meet each other on a play date and see how I behave, it may come off after that. Mom says she is active and plays, chews and eats things I couldn't dream of. Mom is pushing the veggies on her too. That didn't work for me give me a apple any day. Between Daisy, myself, dog, cat, rabbits (outside in a hutch) we keep Mom and her daughter really busy. Mom hopes to find a routine as my human sister goes off to high school as a freshman. Mom gets weepy just thinking about it. Mom took my human sister, Jazmin, and her friends to see batman yesterday and Mom saw MaMa Mia (which she has never ever seen) at the movies too. She laughed so hard and cried even more!! All she does is carry on about over the phone to her friends. I enjoy listening to her carry on when she talks on the phone and she is fun to watch too with all her hand gestures and arms moving, like they could see that anyway but it humors me and I laugh at her sometimes even joining in on the conversation. Well I want some attention and can only come out with someone because with satellite dish on I don't have very good balance and I personally don't have plans on breaking my neck which would be very easy to do. Thanks for touching base. All is well on my
