Hi Popeye! I just got your message to me and when I saw your information I couldn't believe it! Just 12 hours before my breeder was to put me on a plane to fly home to my new Mommy I tried to steal a sunflower seed out of my big brothers beak. He didn't like it very much and stepped on my head and I got a scratch on my upper eye lid, too. My eye is fine because my breeder was well trained and put drops in my eye right away so it wouldn't close up like yours did. But, if you really want to hear an eye trauma story you should talk to my littlest big sister, AsaMina Sura. She had an itch and scratched herself! Just the side of her eye lid, not her eye, but hers swelled shut and she had to have eye drops for three weeks! After it all healed and the scab fell off she lost her lower eye lid! She looks normal and stuff, you really have to look to be able to tell, but I think she's got us both beat in the eye trauma department. And, my sister AsaMina Sura is also a cinnamon mutation. She's a cinnamon pearl split to pied. My markings are Dominant Yellow Color cinnamon pied and I'm possibly split to fallow. My Mommy gave all of her babies very long names. She says I'll grow into mine like Ralphie did. His name was Sir Ralph D'Artagnan because he was the fourth muska-tiel. And, you get my vote, too! Your new friend and fellow eye injury survivor, Worthington Israel Wentworth
