Hi Mia
Tell your mum that it's fairly normal for a bird to drop a bit of weight when they are first weaned. It might be a good idea to get some scales and keep a daily eye on your weight. If you are really worried then dont hesitate to take you to a good avian doctor for a check-up. Birds can go down-hill quite rapidly so maybe a doctors visit for your own peace of mind? When mum weaned Mr BB and I, she had to pretend to eat the seed cos we just weren't inetrested- at the start, she even had to crack them for us. Also, keep offering a variety of foods. Apart from the drop in appetite, do you seem alert and interested in other things? Let me know how you get on... Love from Mr BB av4u
