Hi Simon
My typing slave has been shirking and complaining that she is "too tired" to type for me at the end of the I am late reporting the game results. I am very proud of you and the entire team. We made those Senegals work very hard for every win. Let me know who you want to play next. Photon Results from Norman's page. *** BATTLE OF THE LITTLE GREEN BIRDS, Quakers vs. Senegals, GAME 6. GAME 6: SENEGALS VS QUAKERS. The Senegals came out strong today with opening HRs by Peanut and Sage. DJ and Kayne followed with triples and SweetPepper and Kiddo added singles for an early 7-0. The Quakers got 4 hits in the 1st 2 innings from Waddles, Peter, Quincy and LittleBit but could only score 2 runs. The Sennies added to their score in the 4th with singles from Kiwi and Norman and triples from CoCo and DJ. The 5th inning was much of the same for the Senegals with 6 more runs after hits from SweetPepper, Kayne, Hal, Codie, Orion, Pippin and Loverboy. The Quakers added to their score but were only able to add 1 run per inning. River, Quincy and LittleBit added 1 in the 6th, Audies’s HR in the 7th and Quincy, Photon and Jade added 1 in the 8th. They needed the big inning in the 9th and started off promising with singles from Micky, JoJo and Simon. With bases loaded, Peter smacked a grand Slam HR into left field but it wasn’t enough to catch the Senegals. Final Score: Senegals 21, Quakers 9. Senegals win the series 4-2.
