Down 2-1, the Little Dragons came to play and set the tone early. The Quaker defense shut out the Zons for the 1st 3 innings of play while their offense was busy scoring 8 runs. In the 1st, Peter's triple was followed by back to back HRs from Simon and River. The Little Dragons were back at it again in the 3rd scoring 5 runs with hits from Waddles, Audie, Photon, River, Charlie and Peter. The Zons finally got on the scoreboard in the 4th with singles from Asha and BabyGirl and Ben's double. The Zons would hold the Quakers in the 5th and started to play catch up with singles from Echo, Otis and Andre, followed by Aries's double and a HR shot from Poco. The Zons would continue their rally in the 6th with hits from Max and Stubby and Asha finally did some talking with her bat and smacked a 3 run HR into left field. The Quakers answered the Zons with Photon's and Jade's singles, LittleBit's triple and Quincy's HR. Both teams were scoreless in the 7th inning with the score 13-10 Quakers. The Zons would add 2 runs in the 8th with Aries's HR shot followed by Poco, Fred and Ethyl combining for one more but needed one run to tie the game. The Quakers added on insurance run in the 8th with Photon's HR as the 9th produced no offense for either team. Final Score: Quakers 14, Amazons 12. The series is tied 2-2. Game 5 will be tomorrow.
