Hello Delilah
Hi how are you today? Jade was hatched on April 30, 2008 so she is almost 5months she started to talk I would say about 3 1/2 or 4 months but she had Waddles and Pita to pick up words from. I think it took Pita about 5-6 months before she really talked good. We just kept repeating words to her like hello everytime we walked into the living room ect. When we got Waddles he was I want to say about 6 months old and he was already talking when we got him. My teenage boys would repeat words to the birds to and there friends as long as they was good words but someone has sneaked a few words in that they say that is not very nice. Like Waddles this 4th of July he stared to make farting sounds when people would walk by his cage and there for a while he was doing it all the time. Cause we had family and friends staying here and they thought it was cute and when he did the sound they would laugh. He does not do it so much now that we do not react to it but he will make the farting sound once in a while. Don't know if he heard something and he was trying to copy it and it comes out like that sound. Pita likes to call me stupid when she gets up set with me.I would say stupid bird when she use to try and bite me when she was on my husbands shoulder so now at times if she is mad at me she will say you stupid. . So not to much is going on here today. Well almost time for dinner. Talk to ya later JADE & PITA* V4U
