Good evening Shasta
I had a good Thursday my sweet. Mommy made me pumpkin birdie bread, even though it was HER b-day. And I got lovins and rubbins from Daddy before he went to bed (he works nights) Then I sat with mommy on her computer desk while she did practice tests for her nursing exam. Oh Oh…then later she took a nap and let me snuggle with her under the quilt. But I was thinking about YOU the WHOLE TIME!!! **sigh** Did I tell you that mommy thought I was a girl Cocki-too for 2 years?? She had me DNA tested and found out “I’m Da MAN!” She didn’t care if I was male or female, although she might be rethinking that now! TeeHee Yes, it was literally love at first bite with my daddy. I walked over to him, held my left foot up so he would pick me up…and “Chomp” my beak went into his left hand. Mommy had to pry my beak out of it. It’s kinda funny now…they even laugh about it, but I heard Daddy say he thought my beak was going to come out the other side of his hand and he was a little scared. His nose is healing nicely. I tried to kiss it and make it better this morning, but he wanted no parts of that! RN or not, Mommy is used to treating beak bites. She just says it comes with the territory! Yes, I will be pecking a vote every day for Chester in the contest and listening to your sweet voice. Well, I’m off to my cage to sleepy for the night.
