hello JB
thank you for visiting me. Yes, I am quite young [I just turned 8 months old on Sept. 24th]I am the second Grey in our flock].Our Sam is a Timneh however , so now there is one of each and our big frother Max [he is a blue and gold Macaw] and he was the first bird in the family. Sam is a bit handicapped due to a bad wing, so he does not do everything a grey does [like play on gymrings and he is a bit nervous about being carried more than 5 feet away from his cage]. I on the other hand sem to be quite adventurous and so far I do not bite, only a nip to test the hand that is holding me [a very gentle nip]. Sam bites now and then and Max the Macaw used to because he was very scared of people. But he has such a close bond with mom now he has not bitten in years and he even tolerates dad when she is not around. But he used to draw blood on mom and bite right to the bone. It looks as if you and I have the same cage:). Maybe we can become friends eh?
namaste [blessed be] and a v4u
