Well, I say really clean, but that is if you ignore various spots on the floor with bird poop stains. Oh well, I try. Yeah, and when I am not doing very well health wise, the bird area could be a little better. But overall, it is fairly clean. When I move (in two weeks!!) I was going to use a clear plastic shower curtain to protect both the wal behind the cages and the bird art and posters behind the cages. Oh my gosh! Big news. First, nobody at the entire bird fair carried the two seed mixes I can feed my birds (yes, they contain things I am allergic to, wierd) or the pellet mixes. Very sad. Second, I am handfeeding a three week old kitten! My neighbor saw the mother cat (feral) and three kittens at her barn last Sunday. Then they were gone the next day. On wesnday, one of the kittens was back, yoling at the top of his lungs! I guess he was abandoned. We managed to catch him, so now he is being babyed by Hope (younger border collie). She had puppies before we got her at the shelter, so concequently she treats everything as a puppy. The kitten is pink, and his eyes are just starting to change, with a few teeth coming in. He has to be fed every four hours or so, Though fortuantly I did manage to teach him to go to the bathroom on his own in the litterbox. I named him Sandstone Bal Boulder. Yes, funny name, but it suits him, and I just call him Sandy-Bowl. I hope not to every have him come in contact with Arthur or Kipperkites (other cats), I know he would upset them. Just five more weeks until I have to figure out how to rehome him to someone who will neuter him. Oh boy.
