Hello Beaker
What a wonderful family you have. We are so glad you have a Dr in the family, too. When you visited our pages you may have seen Sunshine. Our Dr said that his birdnappers must have gotten bitten when they captured him a long time ago & they probably cut off the point of his top beak. It always looks as though it wants to grow back, but she said it won't come in any further than that little bit. He has problems with it sometimes, but as long as Mom is careful about what he eats, it seems to be ok. He is a bit touchy with it, too. He does let Mom stroke his beak now, tho. We sure do hope you don't have any problems & that you can forget how awful that must have been. That's why Mom doesn't let us out of our house when Sunshine is out. He can climb all over our house & we don't care. But if we land on his, you should hear him squawk! He tries to lunge-bite us, then. So we stay away from his house. He doesn't care where else we go, as long as it's not on his house. Here's wing hugs for all of you from all of us, & a v4u. |
