Need Advice =]
Well, I've been trying to find some people who know alot about cockatiels. And it's really hard. Ask a question. Do you know any one that can help with taming a cockatiel ? KiiSan will be turning 11 months this month. He's turning out to be a nervous, afraid, stubborn, unsociable cockatiel. We have come along way. Like he knows step up & down, eats out of my hand. Thats as far as we got with him. KiiSan has attacked my mom before. She was only taking him to his cage. When hes in his cage sits in the corner does nothing. Try showing him how to play with his toys, not interested. Would it be best to get another cockatiel, that is hand tame, lovable bird to show him people are not so bad. He does act like his lonely. Sits by a stuff monkey and grooms it. Bends his head to be groom himself. Gets mad when it doesn't. I know it takes time until they come around. Taming sessions are back and forth. Some times he lets me pet,scritches him. Now he will not. Helpful tips ? Thanxs for listening. Take care, see ya later =] |
