Is there a Felix to your Oscar?
Good evening, kind sir. Since my mom started this whole conversation about my yucky-looking feathers, she has been paying a little closer attention to the random markings on the feathers of other birds too. I'm getting a baby Green Wing sister, and she seems to have some (although not quite as much) dis-coloration at the ends of some of her feathers too. (Meaning "She dis took da color right off!") The owner of the bird store where Ruby is living until we bring her home with us told Mom that her feathers are 'pretty beat up' because she is just a toddler, and she crawls around her cage and lays on her back playing with her toys a lot. Now, mind you, I AM NO TODDLER. But Mom just realized, watching me today, that I tend to crawl all over my cage, and sqwoush my feathers pretty good too sometimes. Thanks for reassuring her, and making her more aware of ME!~~ Now I have a question for you. Is that Frank in the picture in the center, on the top? And, I'm gonna take a wild guess that that's YOU on his shoulder? Do you always sit on his left shoulder, like I always sit on Mom's left shoulder? Somethin' about that side that just seems more stable to me. Does that mean that I'm 'left-brained'? (Or does it mean that my brain LEFT?!)~~ How is Jolly doing? I haven't stopped by her page, either, since we last visited. Mom's gonna take me there in just a couple minutes. But I wanted to say "Hey!" and do a little dance on your vote 'umbrella'. Watch how my fancy footwork makes the number go up for "... friends voted for how cool I am." See ya! -<`)-
