thanks for the help. i got tiki in October. since then i got him a larger cage. he seems to be a lot happier and moving all over the place and playing with his toys. i haveing problems right now with feathers. he has these little white things on his head - looks like he is biting his feathers at the bottom...and i have found several large feathers on the bottom of his cage. I hope that this sounds wrose then it is. he also doesnt bathe. I have to spray him with a water mist that i got at PetCo for him. otherwise he doesn't take a bird bath. i ried removing his water dish and leaving a large water dish in the cage thinking that he would get in that so that he would bathe - no luck.

Just wondering if this is normal - i have had him almost 3 months now and I feel that he is not happy - i dont wont to hurt the bird or keep him from being happy....thanks for you help
