`Ü´ Greetings, Miss JESSIEKA !
Please allow me to extend to you a warm Welcome to the Bird Channel. This is a most wonderful place to make the acquaintance of and good ‘featheriendships’ with lots of fun loving, and … well … just plain loving fids and their parronts. My wish for you is that you will find many opportunities for fun, friendship, and learning with all of us who have beauty and feathers in common. ~~ And I suspect that I may just be able to afford you your first opportunity to jump straight into the fray! Please allow me to explain. I have an older frother, (Ö> CR Jake, who fancies himself to be quite the comedian. In this guise, at a recent BirdChannel party, Jake offered to GIVE ME AWAY (calling me a ‘used fister’!) to another partygoer. And I was not even present to be able to object! I must tell you Miss JESSIEKA, I was HORRIFIED, mortified, embarrassed, and HURT! My momma felt that it was high time for Jake to realize what effect his ‘Jokester Jake’ persona might be having on fids. So Momma put Jake in Solitary Confinement for an undetermined period of time. ~~ Many of Jake’s BirdChannel featheriends worked diligently to raise the bail Momma had set. But progress was terribly slow. And everybirdy kept trying to explain to me that as much as Jake made fun, it was only an indication of how deeply he cared about his Little Fister…ME. At any rate, I began to see why my frother might treat me the way he does. And I had begun to miss the sound of his irritating voice and his presence in the cage next to mine. So, I FREED HIM FROM HIS PRISON. ~~ But now we are both fugitives, on the lam as it were. And we are endeavoring to resolve our fibling differences, as well as the MESS we made with our parronts which awaits us upon our return home. Our BirdChannel flockily has been helping us along on this spontaneous adventure. And Jake and I would be very pleased to welcome you to the Birdy Think Tank. I invite you to stop by my page for the ongoing update on our adventure. And I also invite you to contribute any ideas, suggestions, or advice you may have regarding our current situation. ~~ I do hope you will stop by very soon. Until then … `Ü´ PS: You will find information on our current location and circumstances, as well as past antics, under ‘How we met:’, ‘My motto:’, and the photo gallery at the bottom of my page.
