Hi! On the Airplane trip we went on we used an airline acceptable cat carrier with perch attached to the front door and food, water and towel inside and 1 toy. The cat carrier fit under my seat on the airplane! =) Kallie was not any worse for the wear after about 8 hours inside for the trip, since we flew to my parents, we bought a large cage and toys for Kallie to stay in there to make it easier.

For our car trips, since their large cage fits into our truck, we just put the whole cage in buckle in the cage, and they play and hang out in their cage just fine. When we had a smaller car, we bought a smaller cage for each bird which worked fine. If it is cold outside while traveling, remember a towel to cover, or if your bird is new to travel covering may help. Just remember food, perch water and toys. -Nadine
