Baby Gabi, Jaspa and Karen, hmm, a hand reared cockatiel would be just the ticket,according to mom. She'll wear down Dad yet, just you wait. I'm sorry that Jaspa is a bit nervous around you still.Just be your own sweet self, and she'll come round, especially when she realizes that your mum still has time for her too. It's great that you're a talker- those are a fun type. Lucky was like that-- he could say,"Lucky's momma's boy", "here, kitty, kitty", he could wolf whistle, and knew a few other tunes as well. I screech, loudly-- all the time.Although-- I do make a cute little chirpy noise that sounds more like 'momma' every day, when I want her to come to me. According to what mom's been reading, the reason I've been hanging upside down and spreading my wings is because I'm 'flirting'. Besides, mom makes happy human noises when I do that.Your mum must have a lot of books. Mom loves to read too. There are books everywhere.We hope your mum finds bookcases that she likes. The door that mom was working on is an inside door- it was just a bit dingy, and dented,so she filled, sanded and painted it a nice bright white. She says it looks ever so better now. I can't tell the difference.I'm not into eating doors- yet. It's cold, windy and raining here, but we are all warm and cozy indoors. Spring won't show up for a month or so, but every day is a little lighter longer, and mom thinks we've seen the last of the sub zero temperatures.At least she hopes so! Squawks and a vote, |
