Hi again! Jasmine's Mom here.
Horses: Wow, you have some fantastic blood lines there. What a great gift! Love the jumper. I tried jumping Beauty but she didn't have the will for it. Too calm fortunately for me. I was only 16 and she was my first Arab. You should put a pic up here or send me one in an email. nancd777@gmail.com My photos would be all black and white since I'm half a century old. ") I'll look.
Adventures: Yea, we had one recently. My son loves this bird, Jasmine. He takes her to his room and they watch TV and play the video games. He falls asleep and as you can guess, he left the window open as we're putting in air conditioners here in Pa. Although Jasmine is clipped, guess I didn't do a good job. She flew out the window and stayed in a very tall tree for two days. Being on two feedings a day, I was VERY worried and spent most of the days calling and feeding her siblings outside hoping she'd come down to get the feedings. I had all but given up except for prayer. God love my son who has sooo much more faith that I. He kept telling me God would bring her back. I was sitting on the ground putting up a little barrel pond by the wild bird feeder. It was almost dusk and I feared the worst for baby Jasmine. Suddenly, a baby bird landed on my back. It was Jasmine! Cold and thin and dehydrated, she clung tightly to me. I walked cautiously into the house where my husband gently took her off my back and placed her into my shaking hands. Fortunately, my babies are well fed so she is recovering nicely. I put her back on several feedings a day and she's back to her usualy impish self. Everybody got wings trimmed again. This time the correct way. Should have followed the PIJAC book instead of my heart. All glory to God for keeping her safe and bringing her back to us. No more adventures and the air conditioning is in place.
