Tristan!!
Finally!! I found you!! Let me explain... I have a list I keep of all the birdies I've ever written to. Occasionally I perch and go through the WHOLE list, writing a short note to everybirdie. Well, after going through that list one weekend, I realized I'd not seen your face among my visits. I searched and searched that list for your name but couldn't find it. It had somehow gotten erased! Then suddenly, and I'm embarrassed to admit this part, I couldn't remember your name, having read over so many! So you know what I did? I went through page after page of my past notes, searching for your name, knowing that when I saw it, I would recognize it as the one I'd lost. What a relief when I came across your December note. "Tristan" - what a beautiful name!! It's back on my list of friends and you know, I think it's safe to say, I'll never forget it again. Here's hoping all is well with you, that you're growing and changing, finding new things that you like do and eat, say and feel. My wish is that there'll come a day, soon, that you'll fly in and let me know how you are. Until then, I shall wish you well... Kisses from K *v* |
