Hi Magoo
Thanks for your visit. Mom tried the vacuum thing with me at bath time but it didn’t do anything for me. At least not for bathing. I do love to talk and sing when the vac is going. I think it is because Mom always sings while she vacs so I decided that that was obviously the thing to do. I have been doing well with my paddling pool of late. Mom has it out for me most days and even if I do not get in I will sit on the edge of the pool and flick the water around with my beak. Mom decided yesterday that I need to get a bit more wet than is normal in the pool so I had to endure Mr Bottle. Thank goodness it tends to be over quickly and Mom always gives me a special treat afterwards. On the air con thing, I think it is just what you are acclimatized. When we lived in England I was used to cooler temps and Mom kept my room so there was never more than a 18 degree difference. So my room was not cooler than 68 and not warmer than 80. Now here in Florida I am used to having temps somewhere between 80 in the house and 95 or more when I am outside. Mom always makes sure that I am not in direct line with the AC vent so that I am not getting the cold air blowing directly on me and at night she covers my cage. The one thing about AC is it is like central heating, it dries the air out which means you may need more bathes to help keep your skin from drying out. MM
