Hi there Joe! Ethyl here. How are ya? Sorry to hear about your first Mom & Dad. That's gotta be a tough adjustment for you to have to make, but I'm sure everything will work out great for you in the long run. If them cats start to bother you just show 'em how sharp your beak is, I do it with Mom all of the time. I probably wouldn't have to if Fred wasn't such a suck up, but, I am getting better. That was very sweet of Jenny Lynn to send ya over to my page, I love meeting new birdies....and what a handsome guy you are too, nothing like a handsome older manbird to gaze upon from time to time. That Fred I live with just plucks my nerves sometimes, not to mention a feather here and there as well. Glad you have the dog on your side, those furry things are good for something every once in a while. Fred & I are Red Lored Amazons, we are supposed to be a mellow type of Amazon, but Mom begs to differ, at least as far as I am concerned, we lived with an older lady for 15 years, then her niece, then another couple before we got to move in here. So far, so good...and Mom tries hard to get me to like her, so I'm gonna milk it for all it's worth 'til she starts to give up, then I will do my best to string her along for as long as possible. So Mr. Joe, or should I say Uncle Joe,... do you talk at all? Fred's finally coming out of his shell and starting to say (or whistle) some new things, not me, I'm sticking to "Hello" for the time being. Thanks for stopping by, and I sure hope you make a habit of it. Have a fun day Joe! ~~Ethyl |
