Hey Dazz!
I just met your sister Peaches, and I figured I'd come say hello to you too. My grandmother has a mini-macaw. And I'm a goffin. So when my mom goes to visit her mom, and she brings me, we are the two birds there. It must be what your flock looks like. :) So your mom got you both at a pet store. I'm surprised you let her any where near you. My mom hasn't ever found a bird at a pet store that is really, truly hand tamed. I came from a breeder, and I'm very cuddly, but my I have a sister from a pet store and she's very skiddish. Mom keeps working with her, and I hope your mom will too, because it's so nice to see someone buy a bird in a pet store and keep it. Most times big birds like us get purchased because we're pretty but people don't really know what's involved in taking a parrot home, so they don't understand how to deal with the screaming and the biting.... Anyway, I'm glad you guys found a nice home. It sounds like your mom loves you very much. Tell her if she ever has any questions on behavior, she can ask around on here.
