I love your website! Your birds are SO pretty! The traveling brooder is a good idea! If I had money... I just use my aquarium (with a thermometer) and some of those hot packs that you shake or microwave. Less high tech, but cheaper. Traveling does make the babies so much calmer. They go everywhere with me. I have succesfully stalled them so they should be good for about a month, so they will start laying in August, most likely. I prefer them to breed during the fall, becuase my life is simpler. No art shows, no horse shows. I just took everyone into the vet for their checkup yesterday, and I have to retire Angel after this year! She is getting arthritic. If she wants more babies, I'll let her have them, but I hope she won't. My vet was going on and on about how great Reep is though. I always just though she looked a little butch, but he loves how much bone she has. He wants Angel to have another clutch. (I think he wants one, though his wife, he says, would kill him.) What's new with you? How are your birdies?
