Dear Jeepers and Peepers and your Mommy, thank you so very much for you kind thoughts, words and especailly prayers for us when we lost our precious little Daisy. You are such GOOD friends. We appreciate you and love you very much. We are finally on the mend. Mommy is home now from her auto show travels and guess what? Thursday I got the surprise of my life...Mommy brought home an ekkie! His name is Simon and he's a 2 yr. old re-homed bird. Mommy only let me see him from a distance. Then on Friday morning she took him to our vet for an exam, just to make sure he was really healthy and could be near me. Mommy is always thinking of ME! The vet gave him all sorts of tests, and said he was very healthy. Mommy hadn't heard him make a sound until then. Boy, did he ever scream at the vet's when they wrapped him up in a blanket. I could hear him all the way from there to our home!! LOL I don't know why he's scared of blankets; I like them. Now I keep trying to check him out, because he's pretty interesting. However, Mommy won't let me get too near to him because everytime I do, I have my mouth open and I'm making my annoyed clicking sound, and she's afraid I'll bite him. She's right, too! At least he's something to look at when no one is home. He doesn't seem to mind me, but I think he's a little scared of me! hehehe! I can be pretty menacing! Mommy has started refering to me as "the little blue devil" to Simon. Now why would she do a thing like that? She's MY MOMMY, and I want her all to myself, that's all. Mommy says he's a very nice and gentle boy and that we'll get to like each other. Well, we'll see...Anyway, I just wanted to fly by with my thanks, my news, and wish you a very Happy Easter! Here's a basket full of hugs for you, your whole flock and your parronts from your little girlie-bird friend, Lucy Loo Blue and Mommy, Susan
