Kiwi here. Thanks for the kind words. And your experience with your lost flockmate. We know it had to have been harder for you because of how long you were together, especially your mom. Mom still tears up when she thinks of what Piemur must have gone thru before we got him. He was low in calcium too, his bones were losing calcium. So she knows he was not on a good diet before. So with all he had gone thru we figure stress just was to much for him. Mom wonders if she wouldn't have had to leave him there all day but had him with her while he was examined, if he would have fought harder to live. We tell her not to worry, she couldn't have done any more than she did. gotta fly for now. v4u
