ya i know what you mean bout training and heart hurting, ect. my mom REALLY wanted to teach us that stuff and when she first got us thought itd be a peice of cake!!! ya right!!! olly is more trained than me. once he comes out of the cage she can get him to go on her hand but i wont even go near him. im not trained at all i fly away the minute a hand comes near me.

about the fruit, mom has been putting some in our cage to try to get us to eat it but the problem is she cant leave it in too long and also it gets brown really quick. it takes us too long to go over to it and try it. mom is gonna give us some corn the next time she makes it. when mom gets a parrotlet she says she's gonna give it fruit and other foods from day 1. when mom got us she didnt know too much about birds. she's not sure if training a parrotlet would be easier but the ones from the breeder were already hand fed so that might help, right?
