Ziggy -- WE WON
Sennies Too Super
The Super Sennies started strong and held on for a big 15-8 win over the Red Tails on Tuesday.
The Sennies got out of the gate fast as they posted five runs in the top of the first inning. Lola drove home a pair with a triple and Lars put two more on the board with a home run. The Red Tails got two runs back in the bottom of the first but the Sennies shut the Red Tail offense down for the next four innings while they added two runs in the fourth, three in the fifth and three more in the sixth to take a 13-2 lead. The Red Tails tried to mount a late comeback but it was too little and too late as the Sennies held on for the win.
Ruby drove in two runs for the Red tails while Lucky, Gabriella, Munchkim, Shadow, Sheba, and Layla all drove in runs.
Gus and Sam both drove in three runs for the winners. Lola, Lars, Erin Amber, and Kermit drove in two runs each while Lover Boy pushed one run across the plate.
