Hi Taffy!!
How are you doing my friend?? Well, we unfortunately have some bad news. Mommy got laid-off from her job this past weekend. She's really scared cuz she is the only one in the family that can make money. Ellie, Kiwi, and I talked it over and told her that we were going to go and work together at the grocery store across the street to help make some money. She said she was very thankful and she loved us for wanting to help, but she didn't think the manager would be nearly as appreciative as she was. Besides, every time Kiwi says "Go potty!" I leave a big ol' pootie on the floor!! and even though mom thinks it's hilarious, the customers might have issues with it. Kiwi suggested construction, but I'm not sure wings were made to swing hammers... We just have to keep putting our bird brains together to see what we can do. But in the mean time, mommy is pretty stressed out. She's very worried because she just ran out of our Zupreem pellets so all we are getting is seeds, fruits, and veggies which is great for us!! But momma says that it's not good for us to eat so much seed. She hopes that she will get some money from the county soon so she can buy us more food. I do believe I heard her say something about mashed potatoes and rice for supper though! YUMMY!! If my poor mommy wasn't so worried I just might like this lay off thing...we're sure getting lots of time to play with her and go on walks outside and everything!

Well, we birdies are trying very hard to be on our best behavior to not cause mommy any more stress...we sure don't want her pulling her hair out! She'll look like Ellie!! Zebers has been a very good boy lately and he and Kiwi have become very good friends since Kiwi moved in the bird room right next to his cage. I think that Kiwi has been talking with him at night cuz he's been coming out of his cage when mommy comes home to talk to her! That really makes her happy! He's getting more and more comfortable around her, but he's still really scared if anyone else comes in the room. Even Ellie has been on her best behavior...mostly. The other day she figured out how to open all the drawers in the kitchen to make steps up to the counter and she got to eat about half a cupcake before mommy caught her. That's Ellie though...we're used to it. I of course have been the perfect little yellow angel that I always am.

Hope everything is going well on your end. We sure miss you! Please come by again very soon! BBFF ~Huey
