Romeo Too Super For Sennies

Romeo set Bird Channel Baseball League history as he helped lead the White Hawks to a huge 25-11 victory over the Super Sennies on Tuesday.
The contest started out as if it would be a walk in the aviary for the Sennies. They got three runs in the bottom of the first, four in the second and three more in the third to take a 10-0 lead. But that was when White Hawk pitcher Romeo put his wing down and only allowed the Sennies one more run the rest of the way.
The White Hawks started the comeback in the fourth as they scored five runs with a two-run double from Snuggles leading the way. They got four more runs in the sixth as CoCoa smacked a three –run homer. The Sennies got one run back in the bottom of the sixth to push the lead to 11-9 but that merely set the stage for Romeo’s heroics.
Rocky PR led off the top of the eighth with a single. Cocoa and Vinnie walked to load the bases for Romeo who came through with a grand-slam home run. Christine Dijon drove in a run with a single and Sailor hit a three-run shot. It came around again as Rocky PR, Cocoa and Vinnie loaded the bases again for Romeo and he smacked a second grand-slam home run. Two in the same inning as the White Hawks rolled on to their 25-11 win.
NY Mango and Lars led the Super Sennies as they drove in two runs each. Erin Amber, Lola, Max, Kermit, Sam, Pico, and Gus all drove in one run.
Romeo led the White Hawks as he drove in eight big runs. Sailor and Cocoa drove in five each, Snuggles, Clyde, and Christine Dijon two apiece and Cuddles one.

Miss Duncan
