I am Mango, Ollie's fister. One of my moms was from Argentina and was very proficient at Tango. I watched her teach my then dad, and learned a lot about Tango and learned to love it. I have taught one set of students to tango, and everyone had a good time, so we are moving the lessons to a "Dance Hall" (milonga) at the BOTW/BOTM castle. Kiddo (Senegal- #7592) is BOTM and is hosting the first Milonga. We have lined up my whole flock, and drafted the whole of the first class, to teach. It will be this Saturday evening starting at 8:00 est with entrance on Kiddo's page, and will run until the last bird that wants lessons gets them. It took 3 classes for everyone to learn the rudiments (up to social dancing at a beginner level), so there will be monthly Milonga's until everybird that wants to complete the classes has. Your whole flock is welcome to attend; I'm only blogging you to be sure I have time to reach all the flocks.
By the way, Ollie asked me to tell you that there is a new Meyer's named Polo (141467) on BC. If you get a chance, please say hello to him -- maybe he will play ball next year.
