A POEM FOR HRH KING CHICO
Hello dearest BC friends, Christy is so excited about Chico becoming King, that she wrote a poem for the occasion, The poem she wrote is as follows;
HRM KING CHICO

We planned for this, for many weeks,
with our friends and family, my dear Cheeks!
I stayed out of sight, as much as I could,
and you won my dear, I knew you would!
This has been fun, your ascent to the Castle,
for your mom and some others, it's been a hassle!
For Bird of the Week, you've raised the bar,
my Chico, my King, my Superstar!
You're our new King, now were here with Rocky'
how 'bout we start up, a good game of hockey!
And later as, our friends drop by,
let's throw them a party, you and I!
We'll have Romey and Rainbow, and Dewey and Pico,
then along will come Merlin and Dusty and Meiko!
We can't forget Kiddo, SweetPepper and Clyde,
and Mikey with Kacey, right by his side!
I'm sure we'll see Snuggles, Sophie and Ollie,
and hopefully Vinnie, and Kelly and Molly!
Then there's Rocky PR, and the New York Gang,
with Fred and Ethyl, and the whole shebang!
And Skitters and Manu, and Maxi too,
add Peanut and Kaji, before the night's through!
Let's not forget Alfie, Jen's favorite man,
or I'll have her breathing, down my neck again!
Don't let us forget Max, and Sam, and Earl,
dad loves that Grey bird, he thinks he's a pearl!
Still there is, little Miss Orion,
and I must not forget, our friend Maxie Zon!
I almost left out, our Sweet CoCoPuff,
about her and DJ, I can't say enough!
Plus two special friends, that make parties work,
that sweet Mr Grover, and our dear Mr Turk!
Jen will be there, before it all ceases,
she generally comes, and goes as she pleases!
There has to be some, I forgot to mention,
if you will please call it, to my attention!
You might tell Merlin, go slow on the sauce,
he's your brother, he loves you, but you're the boss!
Let's pace ourselves, we've got the whole week,
perhaps we ought, to sneak off for some sleep!
Let's not forget to thank, D Lynn and Betty,
and your sweet loving mom, so willing and ready!
Many thanks to all, our dream has come true,
King Chico and Christy, all our best love to you!
