Romeo --
Well team, we played hard, but they played harder. Come to the Milonga tonight on Rocky's page (16847) to commiserate. It was a good game and we have nothing to be ashamed of.

KNIGHTS STROLL TO VICTORY
The CAGs offense was hot early scoring 3 runs in the 1st inning with singles by Omar, Poirot, Tahoe, Picasso and Pepper and a triple by Susie. The Pois would keep it close scoring 2 when Hal and George scored when Apollo hit a triple. The scoring continued in the 2nd as the Knights saw Kelly and Omar score when Robbie hit a triple followed by a solo HR by Suzie. Once again the Pois would come back scoring 3 when Oliver and Romeo scored when Junior hit a HR to make the score 7-5 CAGs. The Pois would tie the score in the 3rd with a string of singles by Kaji, Nippy, Hal, George and Jack. CAGs dodged a potentially big inning leaving the Pois with bases loaded. In the 4th, the Knights would retake the lead scoring 6 runs. Robbie would open with a solo HR. Amanda would score after singles by Poirot and Susie. Gizmo would hit a single to load the bases for the CAGs and 1 more run would score with a single by Picasso. With bases still loaded, Pepper would step up to the plate and hit a Grand Slam HR to make the score 13-7. The Pois could only answer with 1 run when Angel scored when Mongo hit a single. The teams would trade runs in the 5th each scoring 2. The CAGs saw back to back HRs by Kelly and Omar. Pois Calico would also hit a solo HR followed by Molli scoring when Kaji hit a double. The Knights would continue to add to their score in the 6th as the single-a-rama started with Gizmo, followed by Picasso, Casey, Kelly, Robbie, Omar and Amanda. The Pois would score 2 runs with triples by Jack and Apollo and a single by Oliver to make the score 20-12 CAGs. In the 7th, the Knights would add 4 more runs with hits by Tahoe, Picasso, Pepper, Casey, Kelly, Robbie and Omar as the Pois saw Rafiki score when Molli hit a HR. The 8th inning saw 1 run added to the scoreboard, Poirot’s solo HR giving the CAGs a commanding 25-14 lead with 1 inning to play. In the 9th Pepper would score when Casey hit a HR. Robbie, Omar and Poirot would load the bases but fortunately for the Pois, no more runs would cross the plate. Pois Angel would open the inning with a solo HR but the deficit was too great. Final Score: CAGs Knights in Grey 27, Da Pois ‘N’ Dem 15.
