So your mom's gone almost 24/7??? (At least that's what it feels like to us 'tiels!) Thats good that your dad is home right now - Who spoils you the most? Heeheehee, sometimes dads do and sometimes its moms that always give us that extra-extra treat and let us out one more hour! Right now, in central Illinois, its very rainy. I have not been outside in a few days because of the nasty weather. And I can't go out of my cage because the neighbor's dog is over! Do you fear and/or despise dogs? I do! Anything furry or big (like the neighbors hound) I really hate but mom says that is probably good ... She can't imaigine me snuggling up with a hunting dog (who's already killed a bird and a rabbit!) Anyways, mom has taken away my seed this week. Along with my Roudybush pellets, mom gives me 1/2 of a teasp. of seed every morning. However, she has been trying to wean me of this habit so she did another attempt recently, by cutting the seed - cold turkey! But I HAVE been OK with that ... I've even been whistling more! Do you whistle or sing? I do ... I can do half tunes (like a few notes) but my most unusal one is a half scream, half whistle that sounds like: Maurice! Maurice! Maurice! Mauurrrriiccee! It hurts mom's ears but it sounds so pretty at the same time ... I do it after I get all worked up by whistling for a few minutes. Well, I better fly - Whistles (not the loud kind!) and votes for you, P.G.T.
