Hello Smokey!
Here is a vote for you. Wow, you are outside without a bird harness on. I hope that your wings are well clipped. We have a friend who had a clipped parrot fly away and land in a tree. He had to climb the tree to get the bird. Thankfully it did not go anywhere, and he got his bird back. Birds CAN FLY even with clipped wings...if they get scared or enough of a breeze catches their wings...it can happen!! Wild animals and other birds also prey on parrots. Our african gray "Rocket" was hunted by a red tailed hawk...and he was safely perched in the kitchen on his play stand, near the sliding glass door. The hawk saw him through the door and swooped down, landing on the railing to the deck, just outside of the glass door. Rocket screamed and dove onto the kitchen table...climbing up Mom's arm as fas as he could!!! A birdie sitting outside, can disappear in the blink of an eye, the flap of a hawk's wing or by way of a gust of wind! Don't let this happen to you! Fly on in for a visit any time; and be sure to check out Zazu's page...there is good safety information on Zazu's page.
