Menolly here. I won the toss. Yes, you'll miss the other birds, but they probably will hang around. Mom raised a sparrow and she stayed around until someone did something bad to her. We won't go into it.
Even tho she was mated and had a brood she still came back into the house to see Sly. Every day she'd visit. And when mom lived in Moab, Ut the humming bird would come back every year and looked in the kitchen window for mom to put the water out.
Starlings are quite funny. They'll come back time after time and beg from the same person. Perhaps you'll still see Ki.
