In the best of 5 series, the Super Sennies needed to get something going to prevent from being swept by the Tiel Terrors. The Tiels were held scoreless for the 1st 2 innings as the Sennies scored 1 run in the 1st inning with hits by EA, Kermit and NY Mango. 4 runs came in the 2nd when Max, Pico and Gus scored when KiwiWee hit a Grand Slam HR. In the 3rd, the Tiels would get on the scoreboard when Kacey scored when Tweety hit a triple but for the Sennies, NY Mango scored when Lola hit a triple to make the score 6-1. In the 4th, the Tiels would start a come back and score 2 runs with 3 triples by Mikey, Mr. BB and Honey. They would tie the score at 6 in the 5th inning with Buddy, Dewey, Maxie and Tweety combining for 3. In the 6th, Tiel’s Grover and Mikey combined for 1 run to take a 7-6 lead. In the 7th, the Tiels would load the bases with Honey, Canyon and Buddy as Honey scored when Kacey hit a single but left the inning with bases loaded. The Sennies would come alive in the 7th scoring 6 runs with hits by Lola, Sam, Gus, Lars, KiwiWee and AZ Mango finishing the inning with a HR to take a 12-8 lead. With no runs scored in the 8th, the Tiels had to find some magic in the 9th.
