It is just unbelievable that someone would mistreat/neglect these beautiful creatures--any animal for that matter. if you aren't going to take care of pets, give them up to someone who can. I am so glad they are both in loving hands. We rescued a cockatiel-Lilly, who had been abused. she has really thrived in a loving environment, but she will not let you touch her. (we know she's happy though-her and Ozzy have "open-door" policy on their cage-they are allowed to explore and are very spoiled. I cannot get them to eat beans, pasta, egg or anything but seed and pellets. I mix several great brands together, but I would love to see them eat real food. any ideas??
