Hello from Twilight
Hey we are almost neighbors! Where in BC is your town? I live in Anchorage. It is easy to find - just take the Alcan to Tok and turn south! Do you get lots of snow too? Or do you live in the southern part of BC?
I like summer more than winter because in summer I get to go outside in my summer cage. All winter (about 8 months) I have to stay inside the house. I tried going outside the first winter and that was not at all nice!! Mom had to stuff me inside her shirt and rush me back inside. Who would think that something that looks like fluffy warm feathers would be so cold! Now I don't follow my people outside in winter. I stay inside and yell at them!
I like to throw things when my people spend too much time not cuddling me too. I throw my kids UB Funkeys off the shelf onto the floor. I also drop coins off the dresser to watch them spin, and knock over my 12 year old's model dragons. I'm not really picky. Any smallish item they are paying too much attention to is fair game as far as I'm concerned!
Do you get to fly around a lot? I do. My mom doesn't clip my wings so I get lots of exercise flying around the house. Sometimes I like to run around on the floor and follow people from room to room. I find running on the floor puts me in a good position to do 2 things I like: 1) look for crumbs under the table and kids computer and 2) ambush toes! If you haven't tried the second one you should! It's great fun for you and provides good exercise for your people when they start hopping around making squeaking noises. Just don't get carried away and nibble too hard or you can end up back in your cage - I learned this the hard way.

Happy flying!
