hi beaker! heyyy there beaker! how are you? so, mom just read your comment about your parents considering getting a conure, and of course I think it's a great idea! but since you asked their advice, mom says that she loves having me because I am so much fun and have such personality. She and daddy really enjoy hanging out with me, and so do I. But, your parents are right, because I can get pretty loud. When they first brought me home, I used to squawk all the time! Mommy n gramma didn't know what to do! After I was home with them a month or two (maybe sooner, I'm not sure), I got used to the noises and the people and I got better. Now I only really get loud when I'm lonely, when I think my parents are in danger, if I get scared, or I think I've lost my mom or dad in the house somewhere. Lately, Dad's been spending a lot of time with me during the day and I'm loving it! Even mom and gramma noticed I don't make almost any loud noises at all any more! Now I have different sounds, but they're quieter, like little whistles and coos. Really, I just like to be kept company :o) Hope that helps! Fly by again sometime! PS: much mahalo (thanks) for the birdie swing info! I'll tell mom, and hopefully I'll get one for christmas! |
